Career Navigator - An Online Career Guidance Test
Career Navigator is an on-line self assessment process through which you are able to identify your values, abilities, interests and skills and identify the job(s) that best suit your orientation.
This 45 minute exercise guides you through a series of questionnaires that culminates in identifying those jobs - in order of priority - that best fit your strengths and values. You are then linked to the "ultimate career guide" which provides detailed information relevant to your career of choice.
Career Focus – Your Personal Career Counsellor
Career Focus is a self assessment process through which you are able to identify your intimate values, interests, and personality traits. It is directed at learners (grades 9 – 12) and/or persons embarking on a Learnership or a career change. Career Focus uses a series of facilitated, validated psychometric questionnaires and paper-based exercises, culminating in a recommended career direction.
The process is facilitated by qualified and registered experts. It takes about 2 hours to complete and is done in a non-threatening and supportive environment. There is no waiting for results! You are immediately able to review the careers that suit you, as well as the entrance requirements of various educational institutions. You can even access to on-line Career Directory and the South African Career Encyclopaedia to explore in more detail the careers that suit your values, interests and personality.
